Fully lined water tank for vineyards

We installed a fully lined water tank in southern Europe. The 10.06 x 3.05 metre tank provides irrigation water for the surrounding 5 hectares of vineyards. This client opted for this relatively large water tank in proportion to the size of the irrigated area, as the boreholes do not have much flow. That’s why continuous pumping is necessary in order to have an adequate water supply for the vineyards, especially in dry periods.
Something that stands out is the pine green colour of this tank. The green colour of the metal panels is caused by a powder coating, preventing corrosion in more demanding environments. We recommend applying this additional coating to at least the rings on the base of the tank (option available per ring). However, this client chose to coat it completely so that it could blend in better with the landscape.
